On 01/11/2023, Gia Huy Distribution Joint Stock Company will merge into KTG Electric Joint Stock Company with the common name KTG Joint Stock Company

The merger between the two companies brings great significance in expanding the product portfolio, creating a diverse experience for customers when choosing products in the line of Electrical Equipment, Lighting Equipment, Air Conditioning, Home Appliances (Household Appliances, Consumer Appliances & Non-Electric Appliances) and Intensive Water Purification Solutions.

KTG Electric Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as KTG Electric) and Gia Huy Distribution Joint Stock Company (KTG Appliances) are both members of the Group KTG (Khai Toan Group). KTG Electric Joint Stock Company currently distributes the Mitsubishi brand and owns 02 brands AC Electric & Comet Electric, specializing in distributing Consumer Electrical, Electrical Equipment, Lighting and Air Conditioning product lines.

Gia Huy Distribution Joint Stock Company previously owned the Comet Home Appliances brand and distributed the Waterdrop Vietnam brand.

• The Comet Home Appliances brand distributes Household Appliances product lines (Household Appliances, Consumer Appliances & Non-Electric Appliances).
• The Waterdrop Vietnam brand distributes product lines that offer intensive water purification solutions.

After completing the merger on November 1, 2023, KTG Electric Joint Stock Company will officially fully own and distribute 2 brands: Comet Home Appliances and Waterdrop Vietnam. The categories under the Comet Electric & Comet Home Appliances brand will be collectively referred to as COMET.
