On July 27, KTG Energy signed a cooperation agreement with SkyX Solar (a member company of VinaCapital) to build and operate rooftop solar power projects in all provinces and cities in Vietnam. KTG Energy will be primarily responsible for the development of the projects and SkyX Solar is the major shareholder and ON Energy is appointed as the EPC construction contractor.

OnEnergy Green Energy Joint Stock Company (ONEnergy) is a strategic partner of KTG Group as an EPC Enterprise (Construction, Installation, and Supply of Regenerative Energy Solutions), KTG Energy is a member company of KTG Group as an enterprise specializing in investing in the installation of "Free" solar power systems for businesses and also an application the pioneer in installing the system right at the factories of member companies in the group to learn the practical experiences and benefits that solar power systems bring to Vietnamese enterprises.

VinaCapital is a leading and well-known investment fund in Vietnam, in 2019 VinaCapital expanded its activities to invest in the energy industry and mainly focused on the renewable energy segment. In early September 2019, this group established a member company SkyX-Solar specializing in providing rooftop solar power solutions for the industrial and commercial segments.

With the same goal in developing solar energy in Vietnam and in order to bring a clean and green renewable energy source, protecting the environment, the two companies have agreed to sign a cooperation agreement to build rooftop solar power projects with ON Energy to contribute to the implementation of the above orientations.

In 2020 and 2021, with the mission of bringing clean green energy to all industrial parks in Vietnam, the joint venture of KTG Energy, SkyX solar and ON Energy will focus on investing in the construction of 50MWp in industrial parks, with this construction investment, ON Energy expects to contribute to reducing 1,600,000 tons of CO2 emissions into the environment.
