On June 25, 2019, at the office of KTG Tam Phuoc Industrial Center – Dong Nai, Khai Toan Joint Stock Company (KTG) held an opening ceremony and officially put into use rooftop solar power deployed on the entire system of factories and warehouses nationwide invested and built and leased by KTG. This project is one of the largest rooftop solar systems in Vietnam to date.
Facing the risk of electricity shortage in 2020 due to the rapid increase in electricity consumption of the country, taking advantage of on-site energy sources with low investment and maintenance costs such as rooftop solar power systems is said to be a useful solution, when taking advantage of on-site energy sources, while reducing electricity costs, making a significant contribution to environmental protection... With the State's policy to encourage the development of electricity from renewable energy, many solar power projects have been invested in construction. In particular, rooftop solar power is a new, superior form that can develop significantly in the future.
The rooftop solar energy system invested by KTG is developed by Phoenix Clean Power (PCP) and installed by Tona Syntegra Solar (TSS) on KTG's ready-built factories and warehouses in industrial parks nationwide. Attending the ceremony were full representatives of the leaders of 3 công t. On the side of KTG Group, there were Mr. Dang Trong Duc – Deputy Director of Industrial Development (KTG Industrial); Mr. Duong Van Hoai – Head of KTG Industrial Project Development Department. On the side of the contractor's representative, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan Khanh – director of OnEnergy.

Mr. Dang Trong Duc, Deputy Director of Industrial Development, representative of KTG shared at the ceremony: "KTG Industrial is a piece of KTG Group, with a vision to be the leading real estate developer in Vietnam, providing quality factory/warehouse rental services, suitable for Vietnam's economic environment. We always focus on investing in sustainable values by proactively anticipating world trends with renewable energy development policies, specifically rooftop solar power systems."

At the same time, Mr. Stefan Kratz – representative of PCP thanked for the trust and cooperation between the parties, and highly appreciated the promotion of renewable energy investment, contributing to the sustainable development of KTG.
On the side of the general contractor of the TSS project, Mr. Mathias Kothe said "Thanks to the support of KTG and PCP, TSS was able to overcome the great challenge of scale and implementation schedule, making the project difficult to become a reality and an unexpected success. TSS is honored to be part of the largest solar power system project in the country, contributing to building a green industrial environment and energy security in Vietnam."

With modern technology and equipment, it is promised that the rooftop solar power system will operate at a high level of efficiency. These panels will absorb the sun's radiation and convert it into electricity to be integrated into the national grid, helping to save costs and reduce CO2 emissions, contributing to building a green – clean – beautiful industrial environment.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement took place solemnly, warmly and sincerely with the high unity of the three parties, creating confidence and development potential of the next joint projects. This is an important milestone in the development and cooperation roadmap to create large quality projects of international stature.
Advantages of rooftop solar power:
– It does not take up land area.
– Help enhance effective heat protection for buildings.
– Distributed installations should be connected to the existing low-voltage and medium-voltage power grids, without additional investment in the transmission grid system.
With a grid-connected solar power system, if the electricity is generated by the building's consumption demand, the building will receive electricity entirely from this solar energy. When the capacity from the solar power source is less than the consumption demand, the building will receive more power from the grid. If the solar power capacity is greater than the power consumption, the excess power will be transmitted to the national grid. In the event of a grid power outage, the grid-connected solar power system will be automatically isolated to ensure the safety of the grid.
Vietnam is considered to have great potential for solar power. In particular, the application of roof-mounted solar battery systems to produce electricity will contribute to helping families and businesses significantly reduce electricity costs and reduce electricity supply pressure for the electricity industry, especially in the hot season.
