On the morning of February 22, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of the rooftop solar power project was held by OPV Pharmaceutical Company as the investor, Joint Stock Company

The project has a capacity of 748KWP with a total investment value of more than 10 billion VND, after completing the project, it will supply on-site electricity to serve production for OPV Pharmaceutical Factory according to Decision 13/2020/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, issued on April 6, 2020, on the mechanism to encourage the development of solar power in Vietnam.

ON Energy will complete the entire rooftop solar power system in April 2022, contributing to reducing production costs for businesses and aiming for sustainable growth.

According to Mr. Mai Van Hieu, Deputy General Director of ON Energy, the installation of the rooftop solar power system helps reduce energy costs, reduce factory temperatures, and at the same time help OPV's pharmaceutical products have an advantage in foreign markets thanks to the use of "green" energy in pharmaceutical production.

With the great potential to develop rooftop solar power for self-consumption in Vietnam, ON Energy clearly identifies supporting customers to develop rooftop solar power as one of the company's long-term strategies because this is an efficient power supply, a practical solution to meet the increasing demand for electricity of society.
