On the morning of 02/12/2021, ON Energy Green Energy Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the rooftop solar energy project at DKSF factory

The rooftop solar power project at DKSF was developed by Shire Oak and ON Energy was selected as the general contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed in Q1 2022. It is estimated that electricity output will reach about 1.6 million kWh per year and reduce CO2 emissions by 40,000 tons per year.
In the context of current energy scarcity, the installation of a rooftop solar power system with a capacity of 3.26Mwp when put into operation will create a stable power source for production and business activities for the factory, contributing to the country's economic development.

With the characteristics of topography, climate and weather, our country has great potential for solar radiation, it is estimated that the technical potential for solar power development in Vietnam can reach 340,000 MWp.
With the State's policy to encourage the development of electricity from renewable energy, many solar power projects have been invested in construction, in which rooftop solar power is a type with many advantages, which can thrive in the future with many advantages such as: Does not take up land area; Helping to enhance effective heat protection for buildings; Small-scale, distributed installations should be connected to the existing low-voltage and medium-voltage power grids, without additional investment in the transmission grid system. Rooftop solar power is especially suitable for factories because of its large roof area and high electricity demand.
